A Mont Vernon family in need.

A Mont Vernon, New Hampshire man is fighting for his life after being severely burned in an explosion at a water park in Taiwan. 26-year-old Alex Haas suffered second- and third-degree burns over 90 percent of his body. Haas had been teaching English in Taiwan for almost a year. Alex’ family flew to Taiwan after hearing the news.

Hundreds of people were injured in the explosion.
