Increase deductibles

Increase the deductibles on your home, auto and health insurance policies. A higher deductible means lower premiums, and that can save you big in the long run. You are taking a little risk, because in case something unfortunate does happen, you’ll need to pay more out of pocket. Only do it if you have enough in your emergency fund.  But if you break it down by month, you’re still paying less.
