It’s Cold and Flu Season and I’m Already Sick

Well here we are at the beginning of the cold and flu season and I’m already sick!  This is crazy I am one of those people who always washes their hands and look to avoid germs at all costs!  I even received my flu shot early this year to ward off any sickness.  Somehow I caught the first cold of the season and there is nothing worse than being sick!  I have tried all of the different medicines and so called quick remedies that are available and nothing works.  The worst thing about being sick is that it is keeping me from my job, a little cold wouldn’t stop most people from working but when you talk on the radio for your job and lose your voice, you are done!  It’s not fun sitting around a one bedroom apartment by yourself staring at the four walls around you with nothing to do but binge watch some TV shows and play solitare, although I’m getting really good at Free Cell!  Anyway, welcome to cold and flu season, I hope you don’t get sick, I thought I wouldn’t but here I am sniffling and trying to find my voice.  I would offer some advice to avoid sickness, like using the antibacterial hand wash and avoiding sick people, but that’s what I did and still got sick, I guess if you want to stay well, just live in a plastic bubble!
