New Hampshire in the Morning

Monday December 29

Back from the long holiday weekend!  It turned out to be a nice Christmas for some that needed a little help, thanks to an anonymous donor the Wolfsboro Police Department was able to make a few Christmas’ a little greener!  The donor dropped of a bunch of $100-dollar bills and asked if the department would get the cash to families that needed a little help this year, the department was able to help and they shocked a few in the process. One gentleman was pulled over Christmas Eve and was told he had a taillight out and the officer took his licence and registration and came back with an envelope. He told the man to not lose the envelope, later the man found out why, it had a $100 dollar bill in it!  He was excited and had his light fixed and also payed it forward by donating money to a charity. The envelopes with the cash in them came a a surprise to many as they called the station wondering if the officer handed them the wrong envelope, the recipients were told the cash was theirs and to have a Merry Christmas. That’s a nice feel good story.

Have you already taken down your decorations? What did you do with your tree?  Toss it in the back yard? If you are looking for something to do with the tree, ask a goat farmer if he wants it. It appears that many goat farmers are asking people to donate their Christmas tree to them, the goats love the trees as snacks. No word if the tree adds that pine flavor to the goats milk or not.

I’m sure by now you have seen your Year-in-Review on Facebook, some people love it and couldn’t wait to share it, others say it brings back bad memories for them. Either way the folks at Facebook are still going to give you the opportunity  to share your year in review. If you don’t like it, I guess you don’t share. I looked at my year in review and it was a pretty good one! Hope yours was too!
