Many of us stayed up way past our normal Sunday night bed time to cheer on the New England Patriots. I’m not the only one to say it was worth missing a little sleep to see the way the game ended. First lets go back to the beginning of the season when the Pat’s record was 2 wins and 2 losses, fans were not used to seeing their team start the season this way, many were quite nervous thinking that maybe Tom Brady’s days were numbered. The Patriots in usual fashion turned the season around and led the division and went on to beat a very tough Ravens team and then beat the Colts to become AFC Champions and head to the Superbowl.

Immediately after the AFC game reports started to fly about how the Patriots may have cheated during the game with deflated balls. With two weeks between games we had to endure all kinds of talk and explanations about cheating and how the win may be tainted. We still have not heard from the NFL and what their findings are but be assured that the game balls that the Patriots used to beat the Seahawks were properly inflated. When a team is as dominant as they are people look for anything to tear them down and look for something to show that they may not be as good as they are, I guess it’s just human nature. Like Taylor Swift say’s in her song “haters gonna hate’!

When the dust settles and we look back at the Belichick and Brady era, one thing will be sure, that the hard work and dedication they have for the game and the leaders they are, will prove they didn’t need to cheat to win a game.

Now, how long until training camp?
