Every year someone asks the question, “If you could have a beer with someone famous, who would you choose?” This year is no different, the names are certainly different though. Most people who responded to the question said Bill Murray for the male and Jennifer Lawrence for the female. Lawrence doesn’t surprise me but Murray does. Bill Murray is certainly a fun person and has been around for quite a while, but I’m not sure he would be the person I would choose to have that beer with. Don’t get me wrong I think he is great and if the opportunity came up I would be there.
Other famous people on the list were Robert Downey Jr., he wont have a beer with you, he doesn’t drink, but I agree a fascinating person to sit down with, Will Ferrell made the list along with Bradley Cooper. Other women on the list were Emma Stone, Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johanson. All seem like fun people to hang and chat with.
When I read this list I thought who would I really like to sit down and chat with, I came up with JK Rowling author of the Harry Potter series. Why did i pick her? I think I would like to hear how she came up with the ideas for her stories and if she thought in her wildest imagination that she would have become so successful. I would also like to sit down with chef Guy Fieri, his passion for food and life would be fun for me, I would make him cook something though. Another person that comes to mind that I would like to chat with is one of the presenters of the BBC television show Top Gear, he is Jeremy Clarkson. Clarkson and his other hosts have traveled all over the globe and have seen and experienced everything from riding scooters across Vietnam to driving some of the rarest cars in the world. They have destroyed vehicles and have created some as well.
I’m not sure who you would like to sit down and have that beer with but I’m sure you could come up with an interesting list of your own that would be very different from the names I mentioned, it is fun to think about the questions you would ask if you did ever get that one on one time.
