What is it about Girl Scout Cookies? I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say they don’t like them or they’ve never had one. There are plenty of cookies in this world and yet, I don’t know of any other “brand” that puts more of a smile on our faces!
I have a box of Thin Mints in my freezer. They remain hidden and it is my hope they don’t get discovered!
Below is a story from this week that I thought was really cute:
TOM HANKS helped some kids sell Girl Scout Cookies a few weeks ago in the San Francisco Bay area. For some reason, he and his 19-year-old son Truman were on their way to a typewriter store when they saw three Girl Scouts doing their thing.
Tom bought four boxes and handed them an extra $20. Then he took some pictures with the girls. And when another family walked by and wanted pictures, Tom said that was cool, but only if THEY bought cookies too.
We know from a picture that was Tweeted that Tom bought a box of Samoas. There’s no word what flavors his other three boxes were.
