What People Are Talking About 1/13/15

When is the last time you sent a Thank You note? If you are like me, never! These days we typically thank someone by sending a text or email thanking someone for a gift they may have given us. Etiquette experts say, ‘No’ you should not email or text your thank you, matter of fact even making a phone call is not acceptable.  The only way you should thank someone, experts say, is to send a hand written thank you note. You should send the note even if you have bad handwriting, the note doesn’t have to be long just short and simple. They say that people will remember the note that you took time to write over a quick email or text. Looks like I have some writing to do!

I’m finding all kinds of advice today from ‘experts’, this time its about a happy marriage. If you want a happy marriage then you need to sleep a little closer to your better half. They say if a couple is touching while sleeping they are happier, the strongest feelings between couples is when they sleep less than an inch apart, if you sleep more than 30 inches apart, that spells bad news! So if you were planning on a new king size bed think twice before you do, it may keep you from being that happy couple you have always been!
