What’s the first thing you do every morning when you wake up?  I’m sure just like everyone else, you check Facebook, well Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is in the news today.  Mark is thinking about adding a ‘Dislike’ button to FB, now he say’s it won’t say dislike, but it will have some kind of wording that will give you the chance to click a button and let you ‘not like’ something.  It always bugged me when I saw a post from someone that shared sad news and people clicked ‘like’, I know that the like is to show support for the person who made the post, but I really don’t ‘like’ that sad news you just shared.

Did you hear about the couple in Washington D.C that had a problem with someone stealing packages from their front porch? Well, they grew tired of coming home after work and finding the packages gone, so what did they do? They did something I think we would all love to do, fill a cardboard box with dog-doo and left it on the porch with a hidden video camera.  Yes, the thief returned and took the box and they caught it all on camera. The only thing they didn’t get was the look on the thief’s face when he opened the box of goodies!

With Christmas just around the corner someone did some figuring on just how much money Jolly Old St. Nick would earn if he was getting a yearly salary.  It’s not as much as you would think, I thought somewhere between a million or two million per year, nope, it’s just about 140-thousand bucks!  They broke down Santa’s duties to get the final figure, the man with the jelly filled belly’s job description would be a workshop manager, sleigh pilot, cookie taster and an investigator, that’s to see who was naughty our nice during the year.  With all that work the jolly fellow does you thing the pay would be much higher!

And, I thought this was cool, a time capsule placed in the Massachusetts Statehouse back in 1795 by Paul Revere and Sam Adams was removed and is about to be opened, they are going to x-ray it first and then open it up to  check the contents.  How cool is that? Paul Revere and a guy who has a beer named after him…
