Coach Belichick held a press conference this morning and commented on the issue of the under inflated footballs that were found by the NFL during the AFC Championship game Sunday. The coach said “he had no idea how it happened” and that when the team practices they use balls in the worst possible condition so when the team is in a game the conditions will be much better than practice. So, we still don’t know how the balls were changed from when the refs checked them to when they were used during the game. Is it Brady? Who knows but it certainly is another black eye for the team.

I don’t know if this is a good idea or not, self-serve beer taps. Look for them to start popping up at restaurants and taverns near you. Basically it’s a bunch of taps lined up and you get your own, before you can pour a beer you purchase a wrist band that has a bar code on it, you scan it and the tap opens up. The taps will only serve you what you paid for and it can also shut you off if you purchase too many. The only loser in the self-serve taps are bartenders who rely on tips and people won’t tip if they have to get beer for themselves.
