What People Are Talking About 12/8/14

Welcome back from the weekend, what a weekend it was!  Holiday shopping, Patriots Football and a man getting eaten by an anaconda!  Well when I say getting eaten by an anaconda he was supposed to be eaten, what actually happened was he was on the ground the anaconda wrapped around the guy and never ate him, so the show Eaten Alive really didn’t live up to it’s name, but the Discovery Channel is being eaten alive by people on Twitter complaining that they watched the show for two hours and it was pretty lame.

On the brighter side there was a nice person who went into a Walmart in Dayton Ohio and paid off $15,000 worth of layaway items for other people.  The person wants to remain anonymous but, was happy to shell out the cash for toys and gifts for kids that were on layaway.

If you are like me and still haven’t started your Christmas shopping yet there is good news, many retailers are continuing to lower prices as the holiday gets closer. Experts are saying that this year will be the most promotional holiday on record.

If you missed the news over the weekend, President Obama was in the hospital on Saturday, he was complaining about a sore throat and it ended up being acid re flux. The hospital treated him and sent him on his way. They say smoking, alcohol, caffeen and red meat can lead to re flux, they did not report on what may have caused the president to be uncomfortable although we know he was a smoker at one time.
