Cold enough for you? How many times have you heard that lately? I had a good laugh with the ‘It’s so cold’ jokes, like ‘It’s so cold, when I was milking the cow I got Ice Cream’, or ‘it’s so cold, the dog was wearing cats to stay warm’! I don’t know if you heard but it is even cold in Hawaii, for the first time in a long time temperatures have dropped into the 50’s, it never gets that cold there. In fact many stores sold out of space heaters because of the cold snap! Fortunately it will be back in the 80’s in no time so don’t worry if you have a vacation planned in the near future.

Speaking of cold, Keureg is coming out with a new brewer for cold drinks! Looks like you may have to make a little more room on the counter for this one, they teamed up with the Dr. Pepper Company and in the fall will offer fresh brewed cold drinks. Look for cold carbonated drinks, sports drinks, teas, juices and even enhanced waters to be available when they release the new brewer.

If you are like me you love to check out the latest and greatest apps, this time I discovered a new on called ‘Mint’. Mint is used to check your breath. Now, you may wonder how does an app on my phone know how my breath smells? Well, it comes with a special device when you buy the app and you blow into it and the app analyses your breath and gives you the results. Now I’m not sure I would shell out the $89 bucks they are looking for this thing, it might just be a little easier to do the old breathe into your hand trick and pop a stick of gum in your mouth if you think your breath may be on the stinky side.
