Her lifelong dedication to service, compassion for others, and unwavering commitment to our community make her truly deserving of this recognition. Through her work at the New Hampshire Food Bank, my mother has devoted herself to fighting hunger and food insecurity across our state. She approaches this work not just as a job, but as a mission ensuring that individuals and families facing hardship are treated with dignity, respect, and care. Her efforts directly impact some of New Hampshire’s most vulnerable residents, and she consistently goes above and beyond to make a meaningful difference. In addition to her professional role, my mother volunteers her time with Make-A-Wish New Hampshire, helping bring hope, joy, and comfort to children and families during some of their most difficult moments. Her empathy and warmth allow her to connect deeply with those she serves, and her presence leaves a lasting positive impact. She also serves on the AVH Hospital Board, where she helps guide decisions that strengthen healthcare access and quality for our local community. In this role, she brings thoughtfulness, integrity, and a strong voice for patients and families always advocating for what is best for others. What truly sets my mother apart is her quiet leadership. She does not seek recognition; she simply sees a need and steps in to help. She leads by example, inspires those around her, and demonstrates every day what it means to serve with heart, humility, and purpose. For her dedication to addressing food insecurity, supporting children and families, and strengthening our healthcare system, I can think of no one more deserving of the title Outstanding Woman of New Hampshire. It is with immense pride and gratitude that I submit this nomination.
Her favorite quote is: “Every day I’m reminded that kindness is powerful. Food security and hope are not luxuries, they are foundational to dignity, functional health, and opportunity. I am proud to stand with organizations that don’t just talk about compassion, we weave it in to daily operations.”
