Jill Jablonski is outstanding because she is the definition of a mission-driven leader: dependable, deeply compassionate, and relentlessly dedicated to serving others. For the past three years, Jill has been a cornerstone of Less Leg More Heart, giving a minimum of 20 hours per week as a multi-tool volunteer who supports nearly every area of our organization behind the scenes while also showing up powerfully in visible leadership roles. Jill serves on our Board of Directors and volunteers across finance, fundraising, events, and beneficiary relations, helping ensure our nonprofit runs with both heart and structure. She is a consistent problem-solver, a trusted decision-maker, and someone we rely on for strategic thinking, follow-through, and stability. Jill also serves as a peer mentor to amputees, offering encouragement, hope, and real-world guidance to individuals navigating limb loss. One of Jill’s most impactful contributions is her leadership of our annual gala, where she plays a major role in planning, coordination, fundraising, and execution. Through her outreach, relationship-building, and unwavering commitment, Jill has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars in support of amputees and individuals living with limb loss. Her presence strengthens our capacity, expands our reach, and directly supports life-changing assistance for our beneficiaries. What makes Jill especially remarkable is the heart behind her service. Jill is an amputee herself, and despite being only eight months post-amputation when she first reached out to us due to complications after back surgery and blocked arteries her immediate instinct was not to retreat, but to help others. She turned her personal hardship into purpose, showing up with empathy, strength, and a deep desire to ensure others feel less alone. Jill is kind, caring, connected, personable, organized, and incredibly reliable. She leads with humility, gives without hesitation, and embodies the values of community, resilience, and service. Her impact is felt not only in the funds raised and events executed, but in the lives touched through her mentorship, leadership, and constant commitment to making a difference.
Her favorite quote is: “I got this”.
