Jodie Nazaka

Jodie tirelessly works to make Manchester a better place to live, work and play. She serves as a powerful role model for women in New Hampshire. She leads with a “collaborative-first” approach, frequently appearing on local platforms to educate the public on economic growth and community revitalization. Her ability to navigate complex political landscapes while remaining accessible and focused on the “human” side of economics—housing, quality of life, and job creation—is truly outstanding.

Jodie doesn’t just manage economic development; she envisions the future of Manchester and then builds the partnerships necessary to make it a reality. Her tireless work ethic, strategic mind, and deep love for the Queen City make her a quintessential “Outstanding Woman” of New Hampshire.

While Jodie’s professional life is dedicated to the city’s economic future, her heart is clearly with its most vulnerable residents. As a dedicated member of the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter, Jodie has been a force for good. Her leadership was the driving force behind the 2025 Masquerade Ball, where her strategic planning and fundraising expertise led to a record-breaking night. Under her direction, the event raised over $200,000—critical funds that directly support the shelter’s mission to provide care and find forever homes for homeless animals. This achievement is a testament to her ability to mobilize a community, inspire donors, and execute complex projects with grace and efficiency.

Her favorite quote is by Frank Costanza: “Serenity Now!”
