Lynette Kaichen

Lynette is an amazing entrepreneur, community and state partner in a few different areas! Her work background is as a mortgage originator, but that’s not necessarily her only passion. Lynette has founded two different organizations in NH. Her first was the non-profit, The Pass Along Project, which is how we met. It started as a grass-roots effort to provide much needed emergency clothing and necessity bundles to foster parents who had received a child quickly without being able to get to the store to shop for the child’s needs ahead of time. These bundles of all sizes of new clothing and necessities for overnights and school are always prepared ahead of time with pre-planned volunteers around the state being able to get the bundles to their destination within 24 hours of the foster family receiving the child(ren)…all free of charge to families. These bundles allow the first few days to be less stressful for all involved and give the foster parents the time they need to get the child(ren) settled in. During the holidays, if a foster family has missed a deadline to receive gifts for Christmas, the Gift Fund ensures they receive gifts of the child’s choosing for the holidays.  Out of this organization, Lynette also started For Goodness Thrift in Ossipee, an offshoot of The Pass Along Project utilizing those items that missed the mark when it came to creating specific bundles for children. To best use the items received as donations or purchased when they cannot be utilized in the bundles, those items left are used in the thrift shop and 100% of the sales benefit The Pass Along Project’s programs.  Lynette then co-founded Excelerate HER, which is a community of businesswomen helping each other. It is an organization that builds meaningful connections to help women grow or start their businesses. It provides tools to build or expand their business, has helpful discussions, makes connections and possible collaborations with other businesswomen, as well as provides workshops and courses. Lynette frequently supports other organizations that benefit children in need such as 68 Hours of Hunger and Dover Children’s Home!

Her outstanding achievements include:

  • Founder, The Pass Along Project
  • Co-Founder, Excelerate HER
  • Chief clothing giver at The Pass Along Project.
