Darcie teaches 3rd grade and has done so expertly for many years. She has been a mentor to many and directs our SEL program at the school, making all school presentations on teaching the student body to be “safe, respectful, and responsible”. She coordinates those efforts with all the classroom teachers in award ceremonies for the kids on a monthly basis. She monitors “major” and “minor” behaviors throughout the building and helps those children to become more successful with each day by helping them be accountable for their behavior. She coordinates the Student of the Month program. Her students love her and learn much through her expertise as a teacher. She has high expectations for her students and expects them to be and do their best no matter with whom or where they are. Her students over the years have been very fortunate to have her as their teacher.
