She is a breast cancer survivor who goes to school daily because she cares. Even during the cancer treatments…Written up in 2016 for teaching kindness and caring, she continues to teach in new and wonderful ways, including setting up a cartoon classroom for her class to use at home. She helps other teachers use new technology and smooths the way for remote learning. Coaches soccer and her girls love her.
Cares for and reaches out for the children who are at risk. Is the teacher parents ask for. She devotes her teaching to children, being the best teacher and role model possible. She deserves the recognition because she represents the teacher/person we all want to be. even showing strength, forthought, cooperation, compassion and creativity through adversity.
