This month’s Teacher of the Month was a special one, and well deserved, when we met Rebecca Lessard. As her nominator put it: Mrs. Lessard is a gift that I wish every child could experience. She takes the time to get to know every child, their strengths, and areas where more growth and attention is needed. She communicates very well. Celebrates the kids success with true joy, and sits with them in the hard moments to help them thrive. My child was sick the week before Christmas when he had her. She came to the house (with permission) to drop off a special card from the class and art projects he had worked on for his parents. Her calling is to work with children. She is one of the magic makers in education today.
