Julie is a social studies teacher here at Nashua North. In my 20 years of teaching, I have never been more impressed by a fellow teacher. She makes learning fun and interactive, and reaches kids of all ability levels. She is always there for her students, as well as her colleagues. She regularly gives up her prep period to cover for teacher absences. In addition to this, she is an amazing mom to 4 (four!) kids ages 11 and under. She tirelessly lives her life being the best teacher and mom, and I am in awe of her. In addition, she is a military wife, and has to deal with the uncertainty of possible deployment of her husband – but nothing gets in the way of her being an amazing teacher, colleague, and mom. She is a ray of light and laughter for all who have the privilege of knowing her.
