Alexis Mugica, or as her students refer to her as “Ms. M” is so dedicated and passionate about teaching. She is patient and willing to assist each student individually. Alexis has an Instagram account where she posts books and activities that she plans for her students. Alexis, like many teachers, spends her own money to buy materials for her students. She really goes above and beyond and she’s been known to breakdance in her class to make her students laugh. I’ve known Alexis since she was a kid and she has always said she wanted to be a teacher. She works full time
as a teacher, then a second part time job as a paralegal and is studying to get her Masters degree in education. Teaching is her passion. Alexis is the bubbliest, sweetest person and her students are so lucky to have her!
