Mrs. Henley gives much, expects nothing in return. A Middle school Math teacher who promotes success amongst every student individually. Gives her time effortlessly. Each Wednesday holds a ~ math help program after school for any student struggling. Seeks programs (ie. STEM) and organizes transportation for any interested. Sends text before WMUR post letting parents know of delays, closings!! Sends text promoting any activity that a student is doing that needs support (ie, fundraisers for sports, clubs, social events) w information of.

Mrs. Henley has 2 children herself, a husband who is local firefighter/EMT who is often with a busy schedule. She sacrifices much for the students, because she truly hopes that they ALL “DO IT”. Aside from her non-stop giving is actively working on her Masters in Education. “I remember having such a hard time in Math and having some one taking the time in me. I want to give that back.” She deserves recognition for all she promotes, all she gives, all she believes in for the future of many!!! Teachers like her are few and far between…
